Retail-Talents.com is a European career platform for students and graduates seeking an internship or entrance into retail companies. As an intermediary for interns, trainee programs, jobs, and Bachelor and Master theses, Retail-Talents offers a differentiated platform for retailers to advertise their vacancies and recruit the right person.

The job platform has been established by the Institute of Marketing and Retailing at the University of St.Gallen (Switzerland) in cooperation with leading European retailers. Current partners are: Metro, Migros, Media Markt-Saturn, Valora and Möbel Pfister.

How much does it cost to use the services of Retail-Talents.com?

There are no costs for students and graduates to subscribe, search and upload personal data on our database. Retail companies upload their internships for free. Only partner companies can upload traineeships and job offers. For further information about partnerships please visit: www.retail-lab.com

As a registered user you can log on with your e-mail address and your password.

If you haven't signed up yet you have to create a new account by clicking "signup" on the start page.

To sign up for Retail-Talents.com you first have to enter your e-mail address as well as your first and last name. After sending this information you will receive an e-mail with the instructions to activate your account. When you have activated your account you can log on to the portal any time with your e-mail address and password.

 

You can change your password at any time by clicking "my profile" and entering a new password. After confirming your password click "save" to refresh your account.

You can change your personal data any time by entering "my profile" in the menu. In this menu you can edit your personal data such as postal address, your educational details and skills and search critierias.

To create your own search profile you have to be registered and logged on (see above). After this you can create and edit your search profile by clicking "my profile" in the menu. There you can enter your preferred job characteristics. Check the box at the bottom if you would like to be informed by e-mail about new postings fitting your profile and if you want to receive information about events, etc. Click "save" to change your settings.

The application process is managed by the company which has posted the offer on Retail-Talents.com. You can find the contact information in the posted PDF-file or by the provided URL at the bottom of the posting details.

Can I upload my CV or other personal files? And how much space is available for that?

You can upload personal files (CV, motivation letter, etc.) by clicking "my files" in the menu. Select your file on your computer by clicking "Durchsuchen…" and enter a short description below. By clicking "Upload File" the file will be uploaded to the database. Each user can upload files to a maximum space of 2 MB. Please note: we do not offer SSL encryption for the electronic transmittal of your personal data to us.

How can I delete my profile from the Retail-Talents database?

You can delete your profile any time by sending an e-mail with your registered e-mail address to unsubscribe@retail-talents.com.

How can a Retail-Company post an offer at Retail-Talents.com?

To post an offer you have to be registered and logged in. If you haven't signed up yet you have to create a new company account by clicking "signup" on the start page. After entering your e-mail address as well as your first and last name you will receive an e-mail with the instructions to activate your account. Upon sending an email to offers@retail-talents.com you will receive our users' manual with the instructions to post an offer.

If you are already registered you can log in with your e-mail address and your password.
